Insurance and Billing
Central California Endoscopy Center is contracted with all major insurance carriers in the area. If your insurance carrier requires pre-authorization for your procedure, please check with the office of the physician who will be performing your procedure to assure that this authorization has been obtained. If required authorization prior to your procedure is not obtained you may be responsible for all charges.

Central California Endoscopy Center accepts MasterCard and Visa credit card payments as well as checks, money orders and cash. We also offer payments through Care Credit. (www.carecredit.com)

Credit card or E-Check payments may be made by calling the Patient Accounting Department or to pay online please click here.
We also accept payments in the Business office: 7055 N. Fresno St., S-210.
It is important that you understand your insurance plan coverage and the financial responsibility you have. Please contact your insurance carrier at the number listed on your insurance card. Some important questions to ask are:
- Is this procedure a covered benefit under my plan?
- Am I eligible for screening benefits?
- Are there any limitations to my policy regarding the procedure I am having?
- Do I have any deductible, co-pay or co-insurance on my policy?
Please understand that a 'covered benefit' does not mean that the insurance carrier will be paying the full price of the procedure. In the event a carrier considers a service 'non-covered' the patient will be responsible for the entire charge.
Please be sure to provide us with current and accurate insurance information or there will be a delay in payment by your insurance carrier. Also, please bring your card on the day of your procedure. We will verify your insurance prior to your visit. If you have a deductible, co-pay or co-insurance, it is due at time of service. We will bill your insurance for CCEC’s facility fees. Once your insurance has processed your claim, you will receive a statement from us to collect any co-payments or deductibles that may still be due. Should your insurance decline payment for any reason, we will seek full reimbursement for services.
Self-pay patients are welcome at our center. Payment arrangements for Central California Endoscopy Center services must be made in advance of your visit by calling our billing office at (559) 448-8356. This does not apply to physician billing.
The Cost of Your Procedure
Because you are responsible for costs for covered healthcare services until you reach your deductible, you should comparison shop if you elect to have a nonemergency procedure.
You can use tools like Healthcare Bluebook and the Medicare Procedure Price Lookup (for Medicare patients). Many health insurance websites also provide information on where to find in-network services.
